The LANserve advanced Hardware Replacement service supplements the customer’s disaster recovery facilities by making available a “like for like” inventory and replenishment structure for the support of mission-critical applications. This service provides prompt shipment of replacement equipment such as file servers, switches, modems and routers from Emerging IT within 24 hours of an RMA being raised, ahead of the faulty hardware being returned to the manufacturer for repairs. Without this service customers may be without mission critical equipment during times of possible hardware failure. This service facilitates the loan of like for like equipment to complete mission critical disaster recovery until the faulty hardware is replaced or repaired.
Included with the LANserve Hardware Replacement Service: 1. Emerging IT will perform a full emergency Disaster Recovery test on an annual basis. This involves the restoring of available images and customers data to allocated offline servers held by Emerging IT. A complete restoration test from images or tape is undertaken and customer verification is facilitated by remote access login. 2. Facilitate the stocking of temporary replacement hardware such as File Servers, Switches, Modems and Routers. 3. In case of emergency Emerging IT will complete a full image (most recent) and data recovery from tape or imaging device onto emergency equipment and then facilitate the on-site installation of this equipment and service within 24 hours to restore the customers online working environment. |
